An Ore Extractor is a buildable machine that, when placed on a patch of soil, allows the player to extract minerals from the ground. Each ore extractor has one target mineral, determined by where it is placed, and also collects Iron,
Cobalt,
Magnesium,
Silicon and
Titanium as byproducts.
Ore Extractors cannot be placed on Aqualis.
Ore Extractor[]
Automatically extracts ores from the ground.
Ore Extractor can extract only basic ores listed in Production. It will randomly mine ores without the ability to select exact product. It will have a small priority to certain ore depending on the placement. For example, useful placements are Aluminum Hills, Sulfur Fields, and Iridium Mine, as those are available from early stages of the game.
Will produce a high level of other ores.
Extraction rate: 1 ore/70 sec
Ore capacity: 20
Requirements
- Ore Extractor unlocks at
Pressure level of 155 μPa.

Production
An extractor placed in a location with no accessible ore deposit will produce 2/6 (33.3%) iron, and 1/6 (16.6%) each cobalt, magnesium, silicon and titanium.
The following items will only be extracted if the extractor is placed in an appropriate location.
An extractor placed on an accessible ore deposit will produce 2/8 (25%) of the target mineral, 2/8 iron, and 1/8 (12.5%) cobalt, magnesium, silicon and titanium.
The following items will only be extracted on Planet Humble if the extractor is placed in an appropriate location.
An extractor placed on an accessible ore deposit will produce 2/8 (25%) of the target mineral, 2/8 iron, and 1/8 (12.5%) cobalt, magnesium, silicon and titanium.
T2 Ore Extractor[]
Extracts rarer ores from the ground. The T2 collects more target mineral and less byproduct than the T1.
Can extract more ore types than the Ore Extractor, though still no exact control to select only single ore. It will randomly mine additional ores. Does have a bigger inventory and will have a higher priority to certain ore depending on the placement. As such should be a priority to be placed in Caves to mine rarer ores (For example: Zeolite Cave).
Will produce a medium level of other ores.
Extraction rate: 1 ore/65 sec
Ore capacity: 25
Requirements
- T2 Ore Extractor unlocks at
Pressure level of 364.5 mPa.

- 3 x

- 2 x
Iridium Rod
Production
An T2 Ore Extractor can produce all the same ores as Ore Extractor and additionally these ores:
The listed items will only be extracted if the extractor is placed appropriately.
A T2 ore extractor placed on a mineral deposit will produce 8/13 (61.5%) target mineral and 1/13 (7.7%) each cobalt, iron, magnesium, silicon and titanium. Without a mineral deposit, a T2 extractor will simply extract equal portions of the five base minerals.
T3 Ore Extractor[]
Extracts ores from the ground depending on the user's selection.
Can extract all ores in game except Phosphorus (subject to correct placement still). Enables the ability to choose a specific ore the extractor will extract with no byproduct, though has a smaller inventory than the previous extractors. This extractor can feed an
Auto-Crafter setup indefinitely without clogging.
Extraction rate: 1 ore/75 sec
Ore capacity: 15
Requirements
- T3 Ore Extractor unlocks at
Pressure level of 13.33 Pa.

- 1 x
Iridium Rod
- 3 x
Titanium
Production
A T3 Ore Extractor can extract the following ores:
Ores other than Cobalt,
Iron,
Magnesium,
Silicon,
Titanium and
Sulfur still require the T3 extractor to be placed on a mineral deposit.
