The Future of Planet Crafter[]
As of the version 1.0 release on April 10, 2024, Planet Crafter is no longer in "Early Access". Developers continue to try very hard to take into account what people asking for, but they are a team of two and have stated that the team will remain fairly small. This may limit how quickly Planet Crafter evolves over time.

- Map 50% larger than the map at Early Access release (at least 15 km2 to explore)
- One Vehicle
- Story Arc
- Terraforming stages: Breathable atmosphere / Insects / Fishes / Amphibians
- Peaceful wildlife (fauna)
- More environmental threats
- Ability to randomize some world settings
Things that Will Not be in Planet Crafter[]
- Big monsters, robots and aliens, guns, fighting and violence
- Interplanetary roaming, spaceship piloting
- Completely accurate science
- Physics and gravity
